Troop 509 keeps records on Scouts' behalf of money earned from fundraising and credit received from trip payment overages. The account funds are to be used for Scout related expenses such as uniforms, rechartering fees, camps, etc. Scouts cannot receive refunds from fundraising related earnings. While Scouts cannot take the money with them if they leave Scouting, they may donate the amount to a sibling, another Scout or the Troop as a whole.
